Message from the President

Welcome, Bienvenue, Wilkommen, Velkommen, Dobrodošli, Aloha, Karibu, Bienvenido, أهلاً و سهلاً

 

Spokane World Affairs Council (WAC) is a group of people in town committed to fostering greater global awareness and education. We are a small group now, but are hoping to change that and invite individuals interested in this same goal to join us in planning events that broaden the mind and culturally enrich participants. We have been in Spokane for five years and are now really focusing on extending our reach and growing our membership base.

The Spokane WAC is part of a much larger organization WACA – World Affairs Councils of America, which has been in existence for many years and has chapters across the country. We are excited to help place Spokane on the map with this group because as a city we already work hard to build international relationships and maintain sister cities. Having a WAC chapter is a logical fit.
